"I have really enjoyed my study experience here at the School of Computing – that is why I chose to stay here for my Masters." - Yue Cao

Yue Cao joined the 3+1+1 Exchange Programme and began her studies at the University of Dundee in 2012. Yue presented her project titled ‘Online Collaboration Tools’ at the MSc Project Exhibition at the School of Computing during Open Day on Wednesday, August 27th.

“The purpose of my project is to build a real-time collaborative online visualisation of argument (COVA) application to allow users to work on the same analysis at the same time," she says.

“I have really enjoyed my study experience here at the School of Computing – that is why I chose to stay for my Masters. The size of the classes are small so all the lecturers know you. I believe this has helped me learn better and develop more of my own ideas.

“There were also a lot of opportunities to try out new things - such as belly dancing and Zumba!

“I have been offered a position in an IT consultancy, but I am not sure at the moment whether I will take it up. Whatever happens, I am feeling very positive about my future.”
