A team led by Rolf Black, a Research Assistant in Computing at the University of Dundee, has won Project of the Year at the School of Life Sciences Research Symposium held yesterday at Crieff Hydro. The winning project - Outer Space | Inner Space - is a collaborative project between Computing and Life Sciences at the University and Mills Observatory in Dundee, and in its latest installation highlighted research on worms that live in compost, allowing visitors to see the worm’s inner world through a giant video wall at the observatory’s planetarium.

Rolf was also highly commended as an Engaged Researcher at the symposium.
