About Me

I teach on modules within our undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes, including:

  • AC21009 - Computer Systems 2A: Architecture Fundamentals and Unix
  • AC22005 - Computer Systems 2B: Architecture and Operating Systems
  • AC32006/AC51002 - Database Systems

My main research interests are:

  • how emotion and other stressing factors are conveyed in human speech
  • how to simulate vocal emotion in synthetic speech

I am the Level 2 Tutor and one of Computing's First Aiders.
