About Computing at the University of Dundee

Internationally recognised for our creativity, discovery and diversity, we are one of the leaders in computing education in Scotland. Along with being home to one of the world’s premier centres for assistive technologies, our unique and award-winning Queen Mother Building also houses a number of teaching and research laboratories, a human interface research theatre, an exhibition space for demonstrations of student and staff work, and a wide variety of informal learning spaces for individual or group study.

Our students are taught by a highly dedicated team. Many of our staff and students are recipients of national and international accolades. We provide a collaborative and inspiring community environment which allows staff and students to excel in their chosen area of research and study. We continually strive to ensure the employability of our graduates and to confirm that our courses and strong partnerships with industry prepare our students for successful careers.

The University of Dundee has been ranked in the World’s Top 20 and number one in Scotland in the 2015 International Student Barometer (ISB), the largest annual study of international students in the world.
