Communicating with friends and family via digital television
Mark Rice, a second year Ph.D. student in the department of Applied Computing is looking for some older volunteers (60+) this June to help evaluate some early ‘paper-based’ ideas for a simple communication system that will allow people to visually communicate with friends, family and other groups of people via access of their digital television.

In a very informal session, I am looking for small groups of two or three people to come along and give their own opinions on early design ideas for having a two-way conversation via this new technology. In particular, Mark is looking for people who have limited or no experience in using a personal computer. No experience in using digital television is also required.

If you are interested, and would like to find out more information please telephone him on 01382 386536, or alternatively you can email him at: mrice@computing.dundee.ac.uk
