Coming to Dundee was a very new experience both for myself and most people around me - mostly because most of us had never heard of Dundee prior to the summer of my application, and locally, it is unheard of for people to 'study abroad' without having some experience at our university. However, I had found the perfect degree course, and I decided to try it out - my first big adventure. First of all, I would like to thank the staff and students for being so friendly and welcoming - secondly, I would like to say how much I enjoyed my degree. I had never had a fondness for programming, but everything we did I found to be interesting. Much to my surprise, I have now graduated, and find myself able to do a number of jobs - academi, lecturing, technical, database, website work - none of which involve complex algorithms and data sets! For all of you considering Dundee - DO IT! It will be well worth it.
