1.1 This website is © Tayside Orienteers 2000-2007 unless otherwise acknowledged. All Rights Reserved.

1.2 The copyright of the source code and literary work contained within this website remains entirely with the creator and may not be published or mirrored in any way on any other site on the Internet/individual Intranets and networks (with the exception of proxy servers and caches as required in order to allow access to this page) - unless the creator has given his prior written consent.

2.1 You may, under the license granted to you, access this website and store any associated files on your computer as needed in order to access this page.

2.2 You may save any images or text from the site for your own personal use and print them out - however the copyright notice at the end of each page must remain on printouts.

3.1 If you create a link to any webpage or file within this website from another website, then you must attribute the link by stating that the page or file the link is linking to is part of the this website.

3.2 You may not link to any files held on this website in such a way so as to give the impression that they form part of another site/someone else's work.

3.3 Publication of the webpage titles/headlines of any articles on this website as a link without attribution may constitute a breach of copyright under ss17 and 20 of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988.

4 The copyright of all graphics remains with the artist concerned. Any scripts that have been used have been credited to the author within the source code. If you wish to use them then follow the author's instructions contained within the code.

5.1 No liability is accepted by the creator of this site for any losses suffered, directly or indirectly, financial or otherwise (including data), to any user as a result or consequence of use of this website.

5.2 Liability for death or personal injury is not included within the exclusion of liability in clause 5.1.

5.3 This site is provided 'as is' and on an 'is available' basis without any warranty or guarantee as to factual or technical accuracy, quality, reliability, compatibility or fitness for purpose.

6.1 Neither the creator of this website not Tayside Orienteers shall be held liable or incur any loss as a result of any actions you may take following the use of this website which may other-wise implicate the creator of this website.

6.2 Any losses that either the creator or Tayside Orienteers do incur under clause 6.1 shall be compensated by the user.

7 Definitions for the purpose of this Terms of Use document:

i) 'this website' - The Tayside Orienteers Website - all webpages, and associated files, included within the domain and subdirectory and any subsequent subdirectories

ii) 'webpage(s)' - any file with the .asp, .htm or .html suffix

iii) 'the creator' - David Sloan

iv) 'the user' ; 'you' - any person who uses this website including any person who accesses any file held on this website

v) 'another website' - any website that is not 'this site'

vi) 'written consent' - shall include correspondence by email

8 In the event of any of these terms being ruled invalid under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, or under any other state or country's respective laws, all other terms shall still apply and be binding.

9 These terms and conditions do not apply in France.

10.1 Use and continued use of this website shall be deemed an acceptance of these terms and conditions and any future terms added after the acceptance of these terms.

10.2 As such the date of acceptance and formation of this contract shall be the date of the first time the user accesses this website as recorded in the log files for the host server of this website. The place of formation shall be the site of the host server.

10.3 Under clause 10.1, it is the user’s responsibility to regularly check this Terms of Use document for any updates or changes that may have been made and as such affect their license agreement granted under clause 2.1.

11 As such any disputes under this Terms of Use document shall be governed and construed in accordance with Scots law.
