Results of Local event and Grand Prix 1 at Kinnoull Hill on 26th April 2005

Organiser - Bill Melville

A wet night spoiled both the turnout and some first class orienteering. A party from the local army training corps (now group members of the club), most of them doing this type of orienteering for the first time, swelled the ranks.

St Andrews (Glasgow) visitor David Allison was fastest on the "long" 5.5km course with 63m21s. Apologies to him for having to leave before his result was worked out.

Elaine Gilles headed the medium winners with 60m15s for 3.4km while teenager Martha Aitken was best over the short 1.75km course with 14m 00s.
