Results of Local event and Grand Prix 7 at King's Seat and Dunkeld House on 6th June 2005

Organiser - Bill Melville

Woman power ruled on Tuesday (7th) over the technically and physically tough going at Dunkeld.

The good thing about King's Seat is it is so technically demanding. The problem is placing courses which make the most of that while not involving more climb than I (Bill Melville- planner) like to put in.

Sorry to all who found it a little too tough...but then again wasn't that great woodland up around the crags - control 14 long, 8 medium.

Over 5km Dundee's Roos Eisma won the long course with a time of 70m59s while Perth's Jenny McCullagh won the 2.8km event in 52m05s.

The Nicol family from Birnam won the short course in 21m30s.

And the Turner-Ross family (Dunkeld), fresh from a trip to the Aboyne event on Sunday, braved the medium course and completed most of it before deciding it was supper time.... great going.
