Organiser's Comments

Thanks to everyone who came along to the event at Clatto. The area is an interesting mix of parkland and woodland, and while it's not the most technically demanding of areas, it is ideal for an evening event such as this - supporting newcomers and experienced orienteers looking to improve technical skills or who want a pleasant terrain run.

Thankfully after a very unpredictable summer of sun and rain, we had a very pleasant (dry!) evening. It was great to see some new faces along - we hope you enjoyed your orienteering and will be back for more soon!

Thanks also to Mel Nicoll, whose advance publicity efforts in local press were noticed by some of tonight's competitors, to Angela and Duncan for arriving early and helping out with things, and to Dave Prentice for helping to bring in controls.

The next event will be on the morning of Sunday 6th September, at Kinnoull Hill - more details in the Fixture List.
