PROGRAMME RATIONALE
Morning: "speed-dating" presentations, with the purpose of sharing research themes and directions as efficiently as possible. Emphasis on themes and open problems which could be targeted by collaborations.
Afternoon: groups formed on the basis of morning presentations discuss possible collaborative work, proposals, and in general practical directions/opportunities for common research.

Short presentations from research groups and
discussion (time permitting).
Strictly 8-10 minutes per presenter. Each presentation describes
individual or group work (organise in advance).
12:50-14:00, The Street
Sandwich lunch
14:00-14:15, The Street
Identify groups for afternoon discussion
14:15-16:00, various rooms in QMB
Separate groups brainstorming.
15:00, The Street
Coffee available for short break
16:00 - 17:00, Wolfson Theatre
Short reports from each group,
summary of intended actions

EXPECTED OUTPUT
- For each group:
- a number of areas identified for common research
- a number of ideas for joint proposals, ideally some to be written immediately
- a list of further collaborative opportunities
- Chairman:
- summary of reports session (for internal purposes: draft roadmap)
- concise report on day for NRP Board
