Stars

This is an image of two stars that are close enough to each other to be what's called a binary system.  They can be found in the 'handle' of the Plough/Big Dipper.  This binary was the first to be discovered through the use of a telescope.

It is incredibly difficult to focus a telescope accurately for imaging.  Diffraction spikes are a sure indicator of good focus, however this is a rare feat for me currently.  The images on the other pages will speak for themselves focus-wise!  I'm learning quick though.
