The School of Computing is delighted to welcome back Brian McNicoll, BSc Honours Applied Computing (2003). Brian’s return has come after nine years:
“After graduating, myself and two of my classmates started our own technology company, Dynamo Games, focussing on computer games development. For over 8 years I was Managing Director of Dynamo, working with clients around the world and overseeing the release of multiple titles including Championship Manager, The Crystal Maze, Countdown and Beauty Town. We organically grew the company to a team of 24, winning numerous awards including a BAFTA award in 2007. Since leaving Dynamo earlier this year, I have been working as a consultant, working with clients such as Channel 4, Abertay University and Speech Graphics. I have now come full circle and am back at the School of Computing where it all began, working as Business Partnership Manager for the exciting AHRC-Funded 'Design in Action' project.”
