Dundee Goes to the Moon - A presentation at Borders Bookstore, Monday 28th September, 7pm

Did you know that Dundee is at the cutting-edge of space exploration?

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Moon Landings, Dr Steve Parkes, Director of the Space Technology Centre within the School of Computing, will present how research undertaken at the University of Dundee will aid future generations' space exploration in our Solar System and beyond. He will be discussing SpaceWire, a computer network for use on board spacecraft which is now being widely used by the worlds space agencies and space industry. Around 30 major space missions are currently employing the technology.

This a free event with no need for a ticket.

The event will be held at Borders Bookstore, East Dock Street, Dundee, DD1 3JS
