Placements

During their studies at the School of Computing, students (normally just completing their third year) are encouraged to apply for a Summer Work Placement in order to gain contacts and experience in a real-world setting. The Summer Work Placement Module can count for 20 SCOTCAT points of a student's final Honours classification and is of twelve weeks duration (but this can include two weeks of holiday, if agreed with the academic and industrial supervisors).
