Some other hats:
Together with Guy Dewsbury (Lancaster) I edited a special issue of the journal Gerontechnology which was published in May 2006.
This special issue is an outcome of the British HCI workshop on HCI and the Ageing Population that I co-organised with Joy Goodman (Cambridge), one of my colleagues from the UTOPIA project. Along with Joy, Suzette Keith and Gill Whitney (from Middlesex) I am co-organising the 2006 workshop on older adults at British HCI.
As a result of the workshop, Mr Frank Allen (one of our User Panel volunteers) and I wrote a review of the workshop which was published in BCS Interfaces. Worth a look especially for the photos of Alan evaluating paper prototypes!
