Keeping in Touch (KIT)

This project is about helping older adults to keep in touch with friends and family. Since people now often live further away from each other, we depend more than ever on letters and the telephone to stay in touch. I am looking at ways in which people stay in touch now, and any problems they have doing so. For example, people who have hearing loss can find it difficult to hear what someone says on the telephone.
I would also like to examine whether computers could be used to help people to keep in touch with others.

For further details of what I'm hoping to do, you can look at my project proposal.
