Salary: £32,458 - £55,259
The School of Computing at the University of Dundee is a leading Scottish Computing School which prides itself in its excellent teaching and research.
Our innovative undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes draw on research which broadly lies within 4 areas: interactive and accessible systems design, intelligent systems, assistive and healthcare technologies, and space technology. Interdisciplinary work lies at the core of our research, with collaborations in a wide range of fields including Design, Medicine, Life Sciences, Psychology and Education. All of our teaching and research has direct connection with applications in the real world and we have strong industrial and commercial links, particularly in relation to access to the emerging digital economy.
We are looking for a lecturer whose research interests match or complement ours and who has a strong commitment to teaching, particularly in the fields of programming and databases. You are likely to hold a PhD, with some experience as a postdoctoral researcher and/or have recent experience in a leadership role in the software industry.
