Fees and funding for MSc degrees
Fees for 2012/13
The tuition fee for the M.Sc./Diploma courses for 2012/13 is £12125 for non-E.U. students. The fee for E.U. students is not yet available but will be similar to 2011/12, that is £3400. Financial Support from SAAS (Student Awards Agency for Scotland)
Students from Scotland and from other E.U. or E.E.A. countries may be eligible for a loan from the Student Awards Agency for Scotland equal to the fee. Application forms will be available from April 2012 from the SAAS website.
Overseas Student Scholarships
Students paying full overseas student fees are eligible to apply for the University's Overseas Student Scholarships, giving a £2000 reduction in the fee.

Saltire Scholarships
Students from India and China may be eligible for scholarships from the British Council's Saltire Scholarship Programme, which cover tuition fees, return economy airfare and living allowance. (The closing date for applications for 2012/13 is 17 June 2011.)
Bursaries
There are many sources of bursaries available to students studying Computing degrees.
Career Development Loans
Another possible source of finance is the Career Development Loan scheme run by the government in association with several banks. Information on these can be obtained from the CDL website.
